Génépi des Alpes has been awarded a Protected Geographical Indication that guarantees the authenticity of its production, specifically the harvesting of genepi plants above 1500 m of elevation, away from any sources of pollution. The strands are slowly macerated before fine distilling in our still according to a historic recipe from 1850 found in our archives. In 2019, we asked a talented agency BlackPeuf to design a creative and modern new label that would bring to mind the mountains and the hard-to-find yellow flowers...

We could give you expert advice on how to drink this very authentic genepi but we feel that there is only one thing you really need to remember: it's best enjoyed with friends or family, after a great day of skiing, around an old table near the fire, listening to each other's tall tales of snowy exploits! It also works in summer after a hike, climbing or another outdoor mountain activity with a single key message - enjoy life, the mountains and the great things they have to offer!
